Grand Master Funk is a flagship FullMelt Selection’s cultivar, bred by combining two of the most promising solventless-focused lines from Farmhouse Studio.

The Funk From Mars and JOMO F2.

Both parents are exceptional hash plants in their own right, selected for resin quality, washability, and terpene intensity. This pairing was designed with a clear objective:

to produce a line of cultivars that perform at a high level for hash and rosin production, while remaining stable under full sun conditions and true living organic systems.

Lineage Breakdown

The Funk From Mars
A heavily resin-driven cultivar known for its extreme gas and funk expression, contributing deep notes of burnt rubber, basement funk, and volatile chem profiles. Selected specifically for its ability to produce greasy, extractable resin with strong separation in ice water.

JOMO F2
A refined second-generation line built around GMO-dominant terpene influence, selected through multiple expressions for hash performance, plant vigor, and resin structure. Known for producing dense trichome heads, strong wash returns, and a wide terpene range from savory chem to spice-driven phenotypes.

Terpene Profile

Grand Master Funk expresses a broad phenotypic range, allowing for selection based on both yield and terpene preference:

• Short, Broad Leaf Phenotypes:
  Aggressive basement funk, burnt rubber, DMT gas, and sweaty chem notes
• Tall, Thin Leaf Phenotypes:
  More refined and complex profiles featuring clove, allspice, cinnamon, camphor, and warm spice layers

This range makes the cultivar highly versatile for extractors targeting both loud gas profiles and complex, spice-forward solventless products.

Structure & Washability

Grand Master Funk produces dense, resin-heavy flowers with excellent trichome head formation and stalk integrity, resulting in:

• Efficient trichome release during washing

Both primary phenotypes consistently washed above 4%, with standout performance in selected expressions.
